Guardian Capital Partners Continues to Invest in Education Sector

Guardian Capital Partners (“Guardian”) is pleased to announce a strategic investment for existing portfolio company Carson Dellosa Education (“Carson Dellosa”). Carson Dellosa, one of the nation’s leading educational solutions providers, acquired Kids Station Toys (www.kidsstationtoys.com), a manufacturer of musical instruments and cutting-edge interactive musical toys on May 17, 2019. As part of this acquisition, Carson Dellosa will assume the Fisher-Price® license for youth electronics.

The combination of these companies will allow Carson Dellosa to expand its product portfolio with a world-class brand that believes in their educational mission. With more than 30 best-selling items, such as the Dancin’ Tunes Music Mat, Elephant Piano, and Music Kids Studio, the product line helps children learn and develop through play. Click here to learn more about the recent investment (Carson Dellosa Education Expands into the World of Music & Movement).

Guardian believes the addition of Kids Station to the Carson Dellosa platform will help emphasize the significance of hands-on learning in the education sector and will enhance Carson Dellosa’s ability to teach through experience. Carson Dellosa’s market-leading brands Carson Dellosa Education®, Spectrum®, Summer Bridge®, Schoolgirl Style™, and Rourke Educational Media, are available at more than 10,000 retail locations. Click here to learn more about Carson Dellosa (www.carsondellosa.com).

The law firm DLA Piper advised Carson Dellosa and Guardian on the transaction. PNC Bank, National Association provided senior financing.
