WAYNE, PA – Guardian Capital Partners (“Guardian”) is pleased to announce that Matt Fried has joined Guardian Operations and Advisory Company (“GOAC”) as Vice President, Portfolio Growth. In this new role at Guardian, Matt will work closely with Guardian portfolio companies to achieve their growth objectives and execute on strategic growth initiatives. Mr. Fried will collaborate with Guardian’s portfolio company management teams and advisors to identify, plan and implement strategic growth initiatives. These initiatives, which will include pricing, go to market strategy, commercial execution, among others, will be geared towards revenue generation to deliver long term enterprise value creation. In addition, Matt will leverage his significant operating company and industry experience to support the Guardian team in evaluating investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Guardian, Matt spent 15 years with Danaher Corporation, working in various sales and commercial leadership roles. Matt most recently served as Senior Director of Sales for Cepheid, one of Danaher’s flagship diagnostic companies, where he drove significant revenue scaling initiatives. Prior to that, Matt served as Danaher Business System Leader for Commercial Growth, where he operationalized lasting commercial excellence and revenue growth initiatives. At Guardian, Matt will bring valuable experience across the full spectrum of commercial strategy, best in class commercial operations and delivering sustainable growth across diverse products and services.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State University, with a concentration in Economics.
