WAYNE, PA – Guardian Capital Partners (“Guardian”) is pleased to announce that Mark Klaiber has joined Guardian Operations and Advisory Company (“GOAC”) as Principal, Portfolio Operations. In this new role at Guardian, Mark will work closely with Guardian portfolio companies to achieve their operational objectives and execute on strategic growth initiatives. Mr. Klaiber will collaborate with Guardian’s portfolio company management teams and advisors to identify, plan and implement operational imperatives and support strategic acquisition integration. These imperatives, which will include effectual best in class operating rhythms, data-based decision making, operational value creation, among others, will be geared towards honing the operating models of our portfolio companies with a view to deliver long term enterprise value creation. In addition, Mark will leverage his operating company and industry experience to support the Guardian team in evaluating investment opportunities.
Mark joins Guardian from Inframark where he served as the Senior Vice-President for Operations within its operations & maintenance division. Prior to that, Mark was responsible for transformation and operational excellence within SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions focused on integration and value creation for SUEZ’s acquisition of GE Water & Process Technologies. Before the SUEZ acquisition, Mark spent more than 20 years with General Electric which included leadership of GE Water’s Equipment Service Business as well as responsibility for the Global Field Service Team. Mark is a graduate of GE’s Business Management Course (BMC), Management Development Course (MDC), Edison Engineering Program, and is a Certified Sig Sigma Blackbelt.

Mark earned an MBA from Emory University and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
