Hunter J. Whitesel
Mr. Whitesel assists in supporting all aspects of Guardian’s investment activities, including due diligence and deal execution for new investment opportunities. Hunter joined Guardian in 2024 and is also responsible for supporting financial analysis, evaluating potential investments, and supporting portfolio company operators post-acquisition.
Prior to Guardian, Hunter was a Private Equity Associate at Wafra, where he performed due diligence on new investment opportunities and supported portfolio companies’ strategic, operational, financial reporting, and M&A initiatives. Prior to Wafra, Hunter was an investment banking analyst at UBS in the Financial Institutions Group, where he advised companies on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital raising transactions.
Hunter earned a BS in Finance with a minor in Sociology from Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with distinction.
