Matthew D. Fried
Matt Fried joined Guardian Capital Partners in 2025 and works closely with portfolio companies to achieve growth objectives and execute on strategic initiatives. These initiatives, which include pricing, go to market strategy, commercial execution, and more, are geared towards bending the growth curve during Guardian’s investment period and delivering long term enterprise value creation to investors.
Prior to joining Guardian, Matt spent 15 years with Danaher Corporation, working in various sales and commercial leadership roles. Matt most recently served as Senior Director of Sales for Cepheid, one of Danaher’s flagship diagnostic companies, where he drove significant revenue scaling initiatives. Prior to that, Matt served as Danaher Business System Leader for Commercial Growth, where he operationalized lasting commercial excellence and revenue growth initiatives.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State University, with a concentration in Economics.
